GO REACH PEOPLE FAR FROM GOD

We love people because Christ loves people...

...not just people that attend our church, and not just people that believe the same way we do. The great commission that God set at the forefront of every believer's life's mission, is to love people. This is the opposite of a selective club where we face inward to only care about ourselves. Jesus' life was faced outward and filled with outreach because He loved people. That's why outreach is so important to us at East Coast Believers Church. We love people and we go reach people far from God, no matter what.

FOOD PANTRY

One of the ways we have been serving our community is with our food distribution. We have been helping school kids, Seniors, and families in our own congregation.  Now, we are excited that we are opening our doors to the entire community. You can continue to be a key part of this by grabbing a list of needed items and drop those items off at the collection bin in the lobby.

If you are in need of food, we would love to help. Please fill out the appointment form below.

LOVE OUR CITY - COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS

LOVE OUR CITY

October 26th, 2024

Love Our City is a day when ECBC mobilizes as the local church to give, serve, and show our community the love of God! We break up into groups and touch our city using our hands and feet. An amazing opportunity to bless others and be blessed. Hundreds will go out into our communities and show the love of Christ in real and tangible ways. Small groups from East Coast Believers will sign up for projects that everyone can do together as a group, so there will be many ways to get involved.

DREAM CENTER

Our Dream Center is coming soon.

Our desire at the Dream Center mirrors the vision of our church. East Coast Believers Church exists for this purpose: to GO reach people far from God, to GROW in our relationship with God, and to GIVE our lives to the plan of God. It’s that simple.

We want to help our community in various areas by providing accessible help for basic needs.

Here are just a few of the ways that we plan on providing aid and training to equip those in need.

DESTINY SCHOOL OF MINISTRY | ANTIGUA, GUATEMALA

ECBC and 5 Partner churches have a vision for the beautiful nation of Guatemala. One part includes a bible school to train up laborers in the local city of Antigua.

Destiny School of Ministry was founded in February 2010 by Harry and Karen Wilson alongside their four children. Each graduating in  October of that year from the curriculum. The 9-month school trains those that are called into the 5-fold ministry (pastors, teachers, evangelism etc.) as well as those called to take the gospel into their everyday world. The heart of the school is to see nationals rise-up and take the gospel across the Nation of Guatemala – bringing in the last day harvest and changing lives everywhere. In 2016, a second-year program was added to provide more dedicated training for pastors and church leaders.

CASA DEL DESTINO CHILDREN'S HOME | ANTIGUA, GUATEMALA

It’s easier to build children than to repair adults. That’s why kids are so extremely important to us. Our Lead Pastor and a small group of other churches began a Children’s Home to care for kids around the world.

Casa del Destino (House of Destiny) is a children’s home in Antigua, Guatemala that was established in 2007 by East Coast Believers Church, West Coast Believers Church (Southern California), and several other non-denominational churches across the United States.

THE VISION
Casa del Destino has been commissioned to help raise up kids in the teaching of God’s Word and place them into healthy, Christian homes across the world.

CREDENCIALS
Case del Destino is a legal corporation recognized by the Guatemalan government, that maintains the power to adopt.

ACTS OF KINDNESS MINISTRY

There is no doubt that small things done with great love can change the world. A random act of kindness with no strings attached is a great way to show the love of Jesus to those around us.

Who doesn’t like a free cup of coffee on a cold day? Especially by someone who is smiling, happy and having fun. This type of servant evangelism wins the heart before it confronts the mind. A small act of kindness nudges a person closer to God, often in a profound way. With each act, leave the little card with them to let them know that God loves them. Kindness builds the bridge for the person to receive a touch of love from God. It’s simple, practical, effective, inexpensive, and fun! Pick-up a stack of Acts of Kindness cards located at Information.

Below are some “random acts of kindness” ideas. You’ll hear responses like, “Oh, thank you!” “This is so nice!” “I can’t believe this is for free!” and, “Why are you doing this?”
