Caring for Every Season of Life
We provide a comfortable and caring environment to help people discover Biblical answers to personal struggles and challenges.
Whatever challenges you’re facing, the East Coast Counseling Ministry is here to offer you love, acceptance, and healing.
The East Coast Counseling Ministry is built on the foundation of the Bible, guided care, and a spirit of excellence. Our team is led by Dr. Timothy Lloyd, a licensed marriage and family therapist with decades of experience. Under Dr. Lloyd’s guidance, our care counselors are equipped with Biblical principles and practical counseling skills, receiving professional mentorship that empowers them to serve others with compassion and competence.
The counseling ministry provides support for individuals, couples, families, and teens in a safe and confidential environment. While our care counselors are not licensed clinicians, they provide Spirit-led counsel and prayer while navigating difficult times. If additional care is needed, we partner with trusted Christian licensed clinical counselors in our area to ensure you receive the guidance and support best suited for your unique situation.
This ministry is supported through a partnership with Telos Care, a nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping the Body of Christ to bring hope and healing to a hurting world. Through this partnership, our counselors continue to develop in wisdom, skill, and grace, strengthening their ability to serve individuals, families, and the broader community with Christ-centered care and fellowship.
Want to Get Involved?
Galatians 6:2 calls us to “carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Many who serve in this ministry do so from their own testimony, offering care grounded in the healing they have received and a heartfelt desire to help others discover the same freedom in Christ.
Through the counseling ministry, participants often experience deeper spiritual roots (Colossians 2:6–7), greater empathy and compassion (Ephesians 4:32), and an expanded love for their neighbor (John 13:34–35). Following the model of the early church in Acts—sharing life, bearing burdens, offering wisdom, and pointing each other to Christ (Acts 2:42–47), our counseling ministry embodies this spirit of mutual care, cultivating a Christ-centered community where healing, growth, and transformation can flourish.
If God is stirring your heart to serve and grow in your faith through this ministry, we invite you to take the next step and get involved. Your unique experiences and God-given gifts can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those seeking hope and restoration.
